Literacy in the Modern Army
Paul U. Omu
The Armed Forces are the largest organizations in the contemporary world, as well as the most technically developed. In many countries they form the strongest political force, establishing governments and controlling their policies. Over the centuries the Armed Forces developed a lax-gr intellectual body of military science and history. Thus this lecture on one aspect of an institution such as the army is not only important but relevant to on-going discussion around the globe on current issues of our time.
