ABSTRACT
The need to begin reading instruction early is based on technical as well as social considerations From a purely technical standpoint. our children need traditional background information early to make sense of significant reading materials, and thus gain further information that enables them to make progress in reading and learning. Therefore. the paper analytically discussed the influence of home as a decisive factor/or the promotion of literacy with the use of mother tongue.
