Problems that Adult Learners Face in Learning How to Read Well

The four basic language skills that ought to be mastered by anybody, be they adult learners or school, children, are
grouped under two broad divisions: the first of these divisions is known as the natural skills, while the second division is known as scholastic skills. Under the natural skills are the listening comprehension and speaking skills, while the scholastic skills are the reading and the writing skills. The reading skill needs special approaches in teaching it at any level of education. Both adult learners and school children need the basic skill of reading for several purposes. They need it in their education, for communication, for acquiring knowledge, for information and et cetera. Thus the reading skill needs a special attention.
