Researchers have come up with statistics showing how many babies are given birth to in the world every minute, just as there are figures on how many people die every minute. These are interesting research findings. Unfortunately, we are yet to have the statistics on how many sentences we construct verbally or in writing per minute. However if we consider the volume of letters being carried from one city to the other, the world over, the volume of newspapers, magazines and books being produced daily, weekly or monthly throughout the world we would realize that the task before the researcher wanting to determine the volume of these materials produced to be read is a herculean one.
